Got these tires for my PT Cruiser and I couldn’t be happier with them, 205/55R16 size and they’re amazing for wet and slushy roads. I do find they feel a little spongy at higher speeds but for snow covered city roads I don’t think you could find something better in the price range I got them for. 5/5 would recommend

I just slapped these bad boys on my Audi and I'm very disappointed. I often slide when I brake and I'm not slamming the brakes. There was no ice , there was only 10cms of snow. When I accelerate , it tends to spin too. If you want tires because it's winter and this is the cheap option. I would recommend buying good used tires. The firewall is way too hard too. But you get what you pay for. It would be suitable for the price. Don't expect the best at this price ~~

My vehicle: Subaru WRX 2017 (AWD) I've decided to go with the original size tires. 235/45/17 So far, I've had these RS-W 5.0 on my car for 2 months. I've been through 3 snow storms and lots of ice/rainy days. 1st, during snow storms, these tires performed as expected and if you look carefully at the sipes, they are not super wide and it only has 3 circumference sipes which means snow will evacuate for sure BUT... they do have a limit. In my opinion, the rubber utilize for making this RS-W could use a little more flexibility. That is the reason why I give it a 4 out of 5 on snowy days. On rainy, icy days, these tires perform really well. I believe they are intended more so for this type of weather. I give it a 4.5 out of 5 on icy days. Noise: barely noticeable, 5 out of 5 Handling: I can push my car to 75 to 80 % to its capability and these rubbers will keep the car on the road. More than that, you're looking for problems. Keeping in mind that this is a winter tire, I give it a 3.9 out of 5. Longevity: That remains to be seen, I will have to evaluate them near the 4 or 5 month mark. If you want them to last, I would recommend that you switch/rotate them once during winter. Let's say you install your winter tires in November and take them off near end off March, (5 months) then I would rotate after 2.5 months. A little extra that will make your wear and tear not as obvious. A specialist told me that during winter, they usually recommend going down in size and wideness. From 235/45/17 down to 215/55/16 or something like that (not as wide and not as big) I didn't as this car is capable of pretty much anything you throw at it. But, the less wide your tire is, the better the traction will be in snowy conditions. Overall, I drove to London On. on the worst snowy day, I was amazed to see many cars in the ditch will mine kept me safe : ) Yes, the AWD kept me out of trouble but the tires made a lot also! Want to save money, but still want some winter fun, I totally recommend this RS-W 5.0
